It’s been a long time since I last wrote a post and there’s a reason for that. The writing hasn’t gone well for the last year or so - I’ve been struggling with a couple of ideas that I’ve simply been unable to find my way into. Both in the end just fizzled out and I’ve now started work on another historical novel that I’m very excited about - I go to bed thinking about it, wake up thinking about it, and find myself writing fragments of scenes on the train to work. It’s going well but it’s too early to talk about it yet …

I’ve also decided to self-publish Another Time and Place for the Australian market mid November this year. Angus and Robertson are backing me with promises of signings and publicity and I’m all ready to set the process in motion once the new tax year starts (July). Can’t wait.
