Rewriting - Again
I went to England over Easter and as well as having a brilliant time catching up with friends and family, I also came away strangely inspired (thank you Jo) and since I got back I’ve been rewriting Thin Ice. Having submitted it to several agents in the past, most of whom liked it but just not quite enough to take it on, I knew it needed more work but didn’t quite know what to do with it. Exactly the same thing happened with Another Time and Place, and it took one final (fairly major) rewrite, years after I thought I’d finished it, to get it published. So I’m now working away feverishly and hoping the same thing is going to happen with this one. Fingers crossed.
Oh, and no news yet on rights for Another Time and Place. MNW legally have six months and I’m guessing that’s how long it’s going to take. Nothing happens quick in publishing.
