Things are finally starting to look up on the writing front. With Jake now back at school (Day 4 and already he’s complaining about it), I’ve managed to start writing a children’s story that I’ve been thinking about for a while. It’s a sort of Famous Five-esque adventure on Dartmoor and if it never gets to print at least Jake will get to read it.

I’ve also had some interest in After the Twelfth from an agent in Australia so I’ve sent her sample chapters, and probably more promisingly, interest in Dead Letter from a theatre company in Bristol. Fingers crossed on both counts. Watch this space.
