The first advance copy arrived over the weekend and I was grinning like a lunatic for hours (according to husband Steve). Such a long time waiting - it felt very good to have my novel in my hands at last. Now I really am a bona fide author. Well almost: still a couple more months to go until it’s in the bookshops. Not that I’m counting or anything.
